Hi and welcome to my site, Firstly, I’d like to thank my mother, father, brother & 2 sisters for raising me in a home rarely lacking music & for teaching me a gift, which has given me much joy over the years.

Everyone in the family could play the house organ &/or the guitar, so family sing-a-longs were a regular event we all enjoyed. So it was that I, too, got piano, and then organ lessons and started playing the guitar at a young age.

My 1st gig I remember well. 9 years of age I was walking home from school carrying my guitar (my 3rd grade teacher gave guitar lessons at lunch times). I was walking past the supermarket when the manager of the store stuck his head out & asked me to come in and sing him a song (he must have been bored). I complied and to my surprise, when I finished I received a healthy applause from the manager and a few shoppers that had listened. He gave me 6 lead pencils (the type with the rubber on the end). My 1st pay! And so it began.

Music is now my life, country music my passion. I’m a big fan of well written songs and love to try to write and sing them. I also get a great kick out of entertaining an audience and the thrill of being part of a great band that’s gelling, is hard to top.

If my songs touch or inspire you in some small way, then I think it has all been worth it. Thanks to all those who leave messages in the guest book. It’s encouraging and gratifying to receive your feedback. I do check them regularly.
